All pricing, quotes, product availability, freight charges, taxes, and lead times are subject to change until an order has been reviewed, accepted, and confirmed by Boatswain’s Locker.
Submitting a request for quote, shopping list, or online order does not guarantee that an order has been accepted or processed. Boatswain’s Locker reserves the right to review, modify, or decline any quote request or order due to pricing errors, product availability, manufacturer changes, freight requirements, account status, or other business reasons.
Written quotes are valid only for the time period stated on the quote. If no expiration date is listed, pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.
4. Product Availability
Product availability shown on the website may not always reflect real-time inventory. Inventory levels can change quickly due to customer orders, manufacturer availability, backorders, discontinued products, supply chain delays, or warehouse timing.
Boatswain’s Locker will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate availability information, but we do not guarantee that all products shown on the website are in stock or available for immediate shipment.
5. Product Information & Fitment
Product descriptions, specifications, images, application charts, cross-references, and technical information are provided for general reference only. While we work to keep website information accurate, errors or outdated information may occur.
Customers are responsible for confirming that any product, part, engine, generator, transmission, accessory, or component is correct for their specific application before ordering or installation.
When unsure, customers should contact Boatswain’s Locker for assistance before placing an order. However, final product selection, installation, and application responsibility remain with the customer, installer, dealer, or vessel owner.
6. Shipping, Freight & Delivery
Shipping and freight charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated in writing by Boatswain’s Locker.
Large, heavy, oversized, hazardous, or serialized products, including engines, generators, transmissions, and certain marine equipment, may require special freight handling, additional charges, liftgate service, commercial delivery addresses, or customer pickup arrangements.
Customers are responsible for inspecting all shipments at the time of delivery. Any visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy should be noted with the carrier before signing for the shipment. Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported to Boatswain’s Locker as soon as possible so that we can assist with the claims process.
Boatswain’s Locker is not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, manufacturers, weather, supply chain issues, customs, customer-provided delivery information, or circumstances outside of our control.
7. Returns & Cancellations
Returns must be approved by Boatswain’s Locker before any product is returned. A return authorization may be required.
Products must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging to be considered for return. Returned items may be subject to inspection, restocking fees, manufacturer return policies, or freight charges.
The following items may not be eligible for return:
- Special-order items
- Electrical or electronic components
- Installed, used, or damaged products
- Opened or incomplete kits
- Discontinued or obsolete items
- Custom-built or configured products
- Engines, generators, transmissions, or other serialized equipment
- Items not in resalable condition
Order cancellations are subject to review. Special-order items, manufacturer-direct orders, built-to-order products, and shipped items may not be cancelable once processed.
8. Warranty Information
Product warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer’s warranty terms, limitations, registration requirements, and approval process.
Boatswain’s Locker may assist customers, dealers, or end users with warranty questions or warranty claim support when applicable, but warranty approval, coverage, labor allowance, parts coverage, and final determination are controlled by the manufacturer.
Warranty coverage may be affected by improper installation, misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs, incorrect application, failure to follow manufacturer guidelines, or failure to complete required warranty registration.
9. Service, Training & Technical Support
Service, training, and technical support information listed on this website is provided for general informational purposes and may be subject to separate pricing, scheduling, requirements, registration deadlines, cancellation policies, and availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boatswain’s Locker’s liability for any product, order, service, or website-related matter shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
